Saint Kodratos of Corinth

On this day we celebrate the memory of holy martyr Kodratos of Corinth and Anektos, Paul, Dionysios, Cyprian and Crescens who were with him. These saints lived during the reign of emperors Decius and Vallerian and when Jason was governor of Greece in 252. St. Kodratos was an infant when his mother died, and, thus, he was miraculously fed, i.e. a cloud, which gave him food appeared around him. When he was a young man twenty-eight years old, he made friends with the forementioned saints.
