The desert shall rejoice and blossom.
It shall rejoice with gladness and singing.
The glory of our God will be revealed,
the majesty of our God.

The eyes of the blind shall be opened,
the ears of the deaf will be unstopped.
The lame shall leap up and dance like the hart,
the tongue of the mute will sing for joy.

For water shall break forth in wilderness,
and streams in the desert will come to life.
The ransomed of our God will come with a song,
with joy forever lasting upon their lips.

They shall have great joy and gladness,
and sorrow and sighing will flee away.
All glory to our God, three Persons and yet one,
as then, as now, and forever more.
