O, my soul, how everything
Strives to serve our God and king;
Creation has a mighty voice,
Shouts 'alleluia' and 'rejoice!'
All the flowers that bloom in spring
All the bugs that on them cling;
Heaven blessed all, so they, then
Look into heaven and sing "Amen."
Though their voices lower be
Streams have too their melody.
Night and day they singing run
Never pausing, laughing on.
Clouds and hills and valleys sing
Whales and birds and everything
Stars and planets moving by
Each and all to God they cry.
